  1. Hi, Jill. I just wanted to mention that even though I’ve already ordered the book online from Barnes and Noble because I couldn’t wait, I did zip out to one of their brick and mortar stores with a friend today, and found your book on the shelves. I looked through it quite a bit and I think it is so rich with information, instruction, inspiration (the three I’s?) that *I* am looking so forward to getting started with it. I’ve always loved maps and think this is one groovy publication. A great new take on a way to document and leave evidence of ourselves.

See you in the flickr group and at Artfest!

  2. Going to mark my calendar for your January 19th webinar!
    Wouldn’t miss it!
    Congratulations!!

  3. Hi there,
Wow. This, I cannot believe, only recently I started doing some art projects with young people that I work with and thought that we could make treasure maps. I am a youth worker and I work with young people mostly who are or have been homeless and often face mental illness and other social challenges. I thought that mapping out the future for them would inspire them to make some realistic goals. Except that when I started the project I did not have an example, and ran out of steam pretty quickly, as I found it hard to keep the interest of the young people. This is a fantastic idea that would create so much empowerment for these young people and is demonstrated so much more appealingly.
Thankyou so much Jill you really have inspired me to continue with my works and push on through, I hope these young people will see the same thing as I.
Unfortunatly I can not afford to buy the book, as I myself am on a limited budget (youth workers do not get paid alot in Aus) and there is no money in the program that I work with to even buy art supplies.
    All, the best, great work!

  4. I have always loved maps Jill so of course I love your book too. Fabulous and unique ideas. How do I register for the Webinar?

    • Sharon, thank you so much. The webinar will be posted on CreateMixedMedia.com, and I will put a link here as soon as registration is open. Should be the beginning of January.

    • Sharon, there will be a link on this blog, and on CreateMixedMedia.com later this month.
